Removal of Wall Mounted Air Conditioners & Patch Holes

With this job our client had just purchased a new home which needed a couple of things fixed before moving in. Our brief was to remove the 4 wall mounted air conditioners then patch the internal and external walls ready for the painter to come in and paint the whole house. We removed the air cons and framed the inside of the cavity with termite resistant framing pine and patched and plastered the inside ready for painting. We then we clad the outside with blueboard and moisture sealed. Once that had dried we rendered the outside to match the existing render.

Construction of a Pool Pump Cover

With this one our client wanted to hide his pool pump so we built a screened box to go around the pump with a removable lid to allow for easy access inside the box. Our client will now paint the box black to match the trims on the rest of his house.

Window Awnings Installed

The owners of this property had purchased 2 corflute awnings and needed them installed. This is where Cairns Handyman comes in! We made quick work of installing these awnings for the owners who now have shade over their windows.

New Vinyl Plank Floor Laid For Commercial Office Refurbishment

A job done on Cairns Northern Beaches where this commercial office was getting a makeover. Commercial grade vinyl planks were to be laid over the existing lino floor. The old linoleum was cleaned and prepped and the vinyl planks laid in a random pattern to give best natural looking results. The glue was then left to set and the new floor cleaned and skirtings installed to give the office a fresh new updated look.

Old Brick 70’s House Modernised With New Render and Coat of Paint

The owners of this 70’s brick house wanted to give the tired front facade a modern look to increase the street appeal. This was done by rendering the front of the property with cement render and then finished with a new colour scheme to bring it into the 21st century. We also performed some low maintenance landscaping with hardy plants as this property was going to be a rental.

Backyard Let Go Wild Tamed Again

The backyard of this house had been left neglected for quite a while. After a good trim and mow the grass came back to life and some landscaping was done with hardy Australian natives planted, mulch laid and crusher dust compacted for this once unkempt yard now a low maintenance rental property yard.

Timber Fence Brought To Life

This tired looking timber fence had seen better days. Some boards had rotted and the fence as a whole was well and truly weathered. Damaged boards were replaced and 2 coats of fence oil applied to make it look like a brand new fence.
